As fun as October was, I’m glad it’s over! After two full weekends of Halloween shows, I’m ready for a few weeks of relaxation and training. It’s awfully hard finding time to stretch when one is running around town, fetching face paint, fighting zombies, the usual.
Here are a few photos from Saturday’s Halloween Bash @ the Uptown Club in Oakland. I needed extra zombie back-ups for my Resident Evil act; thankfully, the band-members of Los Shimmy Shakers, the musical entertainment that evening, were pre-zombified with the appropriate make-up and offered to cameo. 🙂 I love that my job involves me asking people to ‘zombie-bum-rush the stage.’ Here are a few photos by Johnny Crash. My next performance is scheduled for November 26th! I’ll be @ DNA Lounge for Bootie SF: Post-Thanksgiving Madness! “Sick of your family? Eat too much turkey? Then come dance your ass off at Bootie! Live on stage at 11 PM, Kingfish presents Hubba Hubba Revue. There ain’t no leftovers at this post-Thanksgiving burlesque feast, featuring five of the Bay Area’s best burlesque and circus performers.” Hooray, sounds fun! See ya guys there 🙂
